Description

Roy Brown makes his third appearance on the Jukebox Jam series with 'Butcher Pete', an outrageously lewd uptempo Jump Blues banger.

Originally cut on 78 only in 1950, using a somewhat gruesome double entendre the song warns husbands and boyfriends to watch out for Pete, newly arrived in town and indiscriminately 'chopping' through all the 'meat' in town using his 'long sharp knife'. It's a wonder how they got away with this stuff!
